Trans. Lab is a monthly collective research space in Casa Kuà for people who identifies as trans* and have bodily experiences with gender-affirming treatment (medical or surgical; DIY or conventional; past or present).
Collective research means that we explore and learn together; we are all free to ask and answer, embodying both cluelessness and expertise in our shared research process. Together we’ll explore our experiences with gender-affirming treatment as a non-linear process.
We might work with (side-)effects, (un)expected changes, and community knowledge. Research topics and questions emerge from the group.
The group is open, so it’s possible to join when you want. We aim to document our collective findings in a anonymized community-led open-source online research archive, for us and by us. How we document our findings will be a shared decision in the group.
