The NADA protocol is a standardized form of acupuncture involving five ear points, administered in a specific setting. It has proven to be an effective treatment for individuals experiencing stress, trauma, or a wide range of mental health conditions.<\/p>

NADA involves the gentle placement of up to five small, sterilized, disposable needles at specific points on each ear. Participants sit quietly in a group setting for 30\u201345 minutes and allow the treatment to take effect.<\/p>

The NADA protocol was developed in the 1970s in New York’s South Bronx by members of the Black Panther Party and the Young Lords to address addiction within Black and Puerto Rican communities.<\/p>

Treatment using the NADA protocol can support people who:<\/strong><\/p>

want to better cope with daily stress<\/p>

suffer from stress or burnout symptoms<\/p>

are dealing with traumatic experiences<\/p>

experience restlessness or sleep disorders<\/p>

are managing chronic pain<\/p>

are struggling with addiction or substance use (alcohol and\/or drugs)<\/p>

are living with mental illness<\/p>

experience hyperactivity or eating disorders<\/p>

want to stop smoking<\/p>

There are no known medical contraindications. NADA is a non-verbal treatment method, meaning participants do not need to speak or share anything unless they choose to.

We offer NADA sessions
<\/strong>on Mondays at 18:00<\/strong> for Queer BIPoC,
and on Thursdays at 18:00<\/strong> for Queer BIPoC and all Trans, Inter, and Nonbinary people.
