Recipients* sit quietly in a group setting for 30-45 minutes and allow the treatment to take effect.<br \/>\nNADA was developed in New York&#8217;s South Bronx in the 1970s by members of the Black Panther Party and Young Lords to address addiction in the Black and Puerto Rican communities.<br \/>\nTreatment under the NADA protocol helps people to<br \/>\nwant to better cope with daily stresses<br \/>\nsuffer from stress and burnout symptoms<br \/>\nneed to cope with traumatic experiences<br \/>\nsuffer from restlessness and sleep disorders<br \/>\nwant to cope better with pain<br \/>\nwho are addicted or have problems with alcohol and or drugs<br \/>\nwho are mentally ill<br \/>\nhave problems with hyperactivity or eating disorders<br \/>\nwant to stop smoking.<br \/>\nThere are no known medical contraindications.
