Dilan
I work with a body-centered approach to help being present, to transform or release what resides within your mind-body-soul after traumatic events or ongoing overwhelming situations. These might be past events, such as childhood, intergenerational or ancestral trauma, or in the present with ongoing impact, ie. facing systematic oppression. Other current events that we can work together can be the ones that led to an overwhelming state such as an attack, an accident, the loss of someone, and similar cases.
My work also focuses on empowerment and resilience building for my communities. In times of ongoing stress and marginalization, I bring somatic practices and interrelational somatic experiences to help tapping into our strength, and to settle overworked nervous systems for growth, rest and/or resilience.
One of my main aims in our sessions is to contain a space where you feel welcomed as you are, and feel protected while a wide range of mental or physical states are expressed with the help of our practices. Although I guide you with certain practices and approach, I am more committed to creating a space to keep necessary conditions for you to tap into your own body’s wisdom.
I offer sessions in english and turkish.
