Who is it for?

You! If you are both Trans and BIPOC and like to make art of any kind.

What will be doing?

We will get into pairs or small groups and determine together what partner work looks like for us. We might: Draw for someone, co-write a zine, read to each other. Play/listen to music, take a silent walk, have an intentional conversation, or something totally different. Our options are endless! 

Why partner work?

Working together with 1 person or just a few other people is an intimate process. You might learn something about yourself or others. Pick up a new skill, and have fun along the way.

How will partner be matched?

You won’t be paired by medium, rather by desired activity type. For example, if you like to draw, you won’t be automatically paired with an illustrator just because you share a practice. Instead, if you wish to draw for someone, you could be matched with someone who want to receive a drawing.

What should I bring?

Basic supplies like pencils, markers and paper will be provided. Bring any additional materials you’d like to use and share.

Should I come alone or with a partner?

Either is good. You can take this as an opportunity to work with someone you already know, or you meet a new creative friend and collaborator!
