begins by introducing many of his patients, all suffering mentally and physically because of addiction. He paints a raw picture of addiction’s effects on the human body and psyche.

We will meet once a month to read and discuss together this book with the purpose of developing a compassionate understanding of addictive behaviours whether it’s substances which is punished by society or workaholism and shopping that is encouraged and rewarded by the same society.
