DESCRIPTION:Zine Workshop hosted by Phuong\, 27th of October 3-5pm \nIn this 2 hour workshop we will take the time to explore our creativity. \nZines (short for „Magazine”) historically come from queer feminist movements with the approach to share knowledge to people within marginalised communities that wasn’t equally accessible to everybody. \nNowadays\, even though zines have become more mainstream\, they have been an enormous part of underground and non-commercial publication. They are self-published or published by a small\, independent artist; self-made\, non-mass-produced and sold within a sliding scale and or shared and exchanged within marginalized communities. Zines can feature poetry\, art\, collage\, politics\, interviews\, comics\, and more. \nWe will start with a short introduction round where I will share some zines by other queer BiPoC zinemakers for inspiration. After that we will take the rest of the time to collectively explore the potential of our own creativity by making a zine together. \nYou are free to decide whether you want to participate or to go with your own pace. \nAt the end\, we can copy your zines and share them among us. \nWe will provide paper\, pens\, etc. but please bring your own materials such as \nnewspaper\, non-used papers\, your favorite pens and stickers\, etc. \nThis space is for BiPoC queers. \nNo knowledge or experience needed\, only your curiosity\, patience\, ideas and visions! \nThe workshop will be either held in English or German or a mixed of both. \nPhuong (they/them) is a zinemaker for 2 years now. DESCRIPTION:This workshop aims to bring together Trans*\, Inter\, Non-Binary and agender creatives to share skills and empower each other to tell our own stories on screen. \nIf you have interests in acting\, directing\, camera work\, sound recording or screenwriting\, regardless of your experience level\, we invite you to join us in the Casa Kuà garden for an afternoon of learning and experimenting together! \nWe will begin with warm-up exercises and an introduction to the basics of staging a short fiction scene. We will focus on the flow between directors and performers\, experimenting with improvisation and using camera to choose the shot that convey energy of your scene. \nAfterwards \, we will split into small groups to shoot three short scenes. The goal is not to achieve the final result but also to learn and explore creative ways to tell our own stories and make each other shine\, all through Trans* perspective behind and intron of the camera! \nAbout the facilitators. \nJoão (he/him) is a white Trans-masculine filmmaker\, with a European passport. He works and studies as direct\, screenwriter and in film production for experimental fiction and documentary films. He sees the collective making of fictional narratives as a space to create potentials of resistance and solidarity\, to translate our own sensorial experiences of space and time and dreams of manifesting together on screen the spaces and narratives we need to thrive. \nFrān (they/none)is a Non-Binary audiovisual artist and producer. They grew up in Nicaragua but left the country in 2018 due to the social-political crisis and relocated to Berlin. They are a person of color with a stable migration status. The way they relate to documentations of reality has evolved over the years and has significantly shaped the ay they understand themselves and their own history. DESCRIPTION:Many of us face psychiatric violence over and over again. There are hardly any offers to talk about one’s own experiences\, feelings and traumatizing experiences in psychiatry. Especially without having to be exposed to new psychiatric pressure. We want to offer a space for our community to exchange. This time we want to continue preparing paths\, new beds and maybe\na chill out area\, plus there is still space to seed out new plant babies!\nAlso if you just want to chill and watch the plants grow\, feel free to come and get cozy in the sun or shade.\nThe space is for sure also up for lazy times\, hanging out\, chilling + resting. \nIf you have pillows and blankets for the chilling area and the wagon shelter\, bring them\, we are looking for those 😊 \nThe Casa Kuà Garden aims to create a safer space primarily centering BIPOC trans\, inter and queer\, and then is inclusive also towards white trans and inter people. Where we can connect with earth\, plants\, water\, each other and other creatures as a healing practice and community bonding. Especially over the months of May and June we are intending to spend most weekends there and invite members of our community to join in our building and gardening activities or just come to hang out.

DESCRIPTION:  \nWho is it for? \nYou! If you are both Trans and BIPOC and like to make art of any kind. \nWhat will be doing? \nWe will get into pairs or small groups and determine together what partner work looks like for us. We might: Draw for someone\, co-write a zine\, read to each other. Play/listen to music\, take a silent walk\, have an intentional conversation\, or something totally different. Our options are endless!  \nWhy partner work? \nWorking together with 1 person or just a few other people is an intimate process. You might learn something about yourself or others. Pick up a new skill\, and have fun along the way. \nHow will partner be matched? \nYou won’t be paired by medium\, rather by desired activity type. For example\, if you like to draw\, you won’t be automatically paired with an illustrator just because you share a practice. Instead\, if you wish to draw for someone\, you could be matched with someone who want to receive a drawing. \nWhat should I bring? \nBasic supplies like pencils\, markers and paper will be provided. Bring any additional materials you’d like to use and share. \nShould I come alone or with a partner? \nEither is good. Post East Migrant:in\, white\, German Passport together with Julian; cis – male\, pansexual\, POC\, German Passport) They both do not have lived experiences but have been working for years for several years in the runaway house/Weglaufhaus “Villa Stöckle”\, an anti-psychiatric crisis facility for homeless people. \nMany of us face psychiatric violence over and over again. There are hardly any offers to talk about one’s own experiences\, feelings and traumatizing experiences in psychiatry. Especially without having to be exposed to new psychiatric pressure. We want to offer a space for our community to exchange. \nWe meet once a month on Wednesdays between 6pm and 8pm.

Estudió profesorado de Teatro de Morón sin poder recibirse por la transfobia cis-témica. \n🌱Actualmente trabaja como profe de teatro /clown. Forma parte de la compañia teatral Las Quemando y del dúo Carmelitas Clown. Hoy Buscando otras maneras de vivir ha decidio migrar a los màrgenes de las grandes urbes latinoamericanas. “Viva de actriz” escribió en su espejo para recordarlo a diario. Enemistada con la academia elitista y blanca Gemma se ríe e ironiza que uno es poeta.
