Collage of (Plant)-Knowledges Workshop

Hi! i am Chepita (she/they). A queer herbalist from Abya Yala and part of Casa Kuà.
On the 31st of July from 12-15h i will be offering a Plant-workshop. The aim is to have a collective approach to knowledges that we have received about certain plants and to recover that information passed down to us through our families/communities and through several generations.
5 plants will be our teachers and will accompany us throughout the session. Using collage techniques, each of us will create an artistic piece that will be included in a collective fanzine.

Spoken languages are spanish, english and german.
Where?: I am looking for an open space, i will let you know as soon as i know.
Who is invited?: For the moment the WS is open for trans/queer/FLINTA* BIPoC´s.

Covid-19: Limited to 10 spots due to regulations. To attend the workshop, a negative covid-19 rapid test for that day will be required.

Collage aus (Pflanzen)-Wissen Workshop 

Hallo! Ich bin Chepita (sie/ihr). Eine queere Kräuterkundige aus Abya Yala und Teil von Casa Kuà.
Am 31. Juli von 12-15h biete ich einen Pflanzen-Workshop an. Das Ziel ist eine kollektive Annäherung an das Wissen, das wir über bestimmte Pflanzen erhalten haben und die Informationen, die uns durch unsere Familien/Gemeinschaften und über mehrere Generationen weitergegeben wurden, wieder zu erlangen.
5 Pflanzen werden unsere Lehrer*innen sein und uns durch die Sitzung begleiten. Mit Hilfe von Collagetechniken wird jede*r von uns ein künstlerisches Werk schaffen, das in ein gemeinsames Fanzine aufgenommen wird.

Gesprochene Sprachen sind spanisch, englisch und deutsch.
Wo? Ich bin auf der Suche nach einem offenen Raum, ich werde es euch wissen lassen, sobald ich es weiß.
Wer ist eingeladen?: Im Moment ist der WS offen für trans/queer/FLINTA* BIPoC’s.
