Elo Wewentxu
Artista Mapuche, originarix de Wallmapu, instaladx en Berlin. Su primer contacto con un violin fue a los 9 años y desde ahí empezó su historia con el arte y la música. Trabaja como performer, profesorx, compositorx y artista interdisciplinarix.

En este taller abrimos un espacio seguro a jugar y descubrir nuevas formas de comunicar con la música como herramienta social y política, generando una instancia a reflexionar sobre nuestras corporalidades migrantes en resistencia por medio de la música y el movimiento, como medio de expresión y acción política. Lxs participantes pueden llevar instrumentos propios, para después de este dialogo invitarles a hacer una jam session.

Para quien: gente de pueblos originarios y afrodescendientes, QTIBIPOC, migrantes maricxs, tortas, trans y no binarixs.
Tiempo de duración: 90 m. incluyendo una pausa de 15 m.

Eli Wewentxu
Mapuche artist, original from Wallmapu, Berlin based. They held a violin at the age of 9 and from there began their story with music and art. They work as a performer, teacher, composer and interdisciplinary artist

In this workshop we open a safe space to play and discover new ways of communicating with music as a social and political tool, generating an instance to reflect on our migrant corporealities in resistance through music and movement, as a means of expression and political action.
Participants can bring their own instruments, after this dialogue we will invite them to a jam session.

For whom: QTIBIPOC & trans*, queer, inter*, non-binary migrants

Eli Wewentxu
Mapuche-artist, ursprünglich aus Wallmapu, lebt in Berlin. Eli hielt im Alter von 9 Jahren eine Geige in der Hand und von da an begann Eli’s Geschichte mit Musik und Kunst. Eli arbeitet als Performer*in, Lehrer*in, Komponist*in und interdisziplinärer Künstler*in.

In diesem Workshop öffnen wir einen sicheren Raum, um zu spielen und neue Wege der Kommunikation mit Musik als soziales und politisches Werkzeug zu entdecken. Um mit Musik als soziales und politisches Werkzeug zu kommunizieren und eine Instanz zu schaffen, um über unsere migrantischen Körperlichkeiten im Widerstand durch Musik und Bewegung zu reflektieren, als Mittel des Ausdrucks und der politischen Aktion.
Die Teilnehmende können ihre eigenen Instrumente mitbringen, und nach diesem Dialog laden wir zu einer Jam-Session ein.

Für wen: QTIBIPOC, trans*, queere, inter* Migrant*innen.
Dauer: 90 m. einschließlich einer 15 m. Pause.
